Sinner extends lead in Live Race following Rome triumph
Jannik Sinner increased his growing lead in the PIF ATP Live Race To Turin at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia in Rome, where he completed the Career Golden Masters.
The Italian has won a record six consecutive ATP Masters 1000 titles, a streak that dates back to last year’s Rolex Paris Masters. The 24-year-old, who triumphed at the Nitto ATP Finals in 2024 and 2025, holds 5,900 points, while rival Carlos Alcaraz is second with 3,650 points. Alcaraz will not compete at Roland Garros later this month due to injury.

In a dominant run in Rome, Sinner dropped one set en route to becoming the first Italian champion since Adriano Panatta in 1976. He overcame Casper Ruud in the final to become the seventh player in series history (since 1990) to win 10 Masters 1000 crowns.
Sinner is now 36-2 on the year, while he has won a record 34 consecutive Masters 1000 matches, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index.

Daniil Medvedev is fourth on 2,210 points after advancing to his second Masters 1000 semi-final of the season in the ‘Eternal City’. The 2023 Rome champion forced Sinner to three sets in their last four clash. The 30-year-old triumphed at the Nitto ATP Finals in 2020.
Luciano Darderi has moved to 11th after he advanced to the last four on home soil in Italy. The 24-year-old, who has 1,295 points, is aiming to make his debut at the year-end event.
