American joins Zverev and Alcaraz in the field

Ben Shelton has qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals for the second consecutive year.

The 24-year-old joined Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz in the Turin field. The prestigious season-end event will take place from 15-22 November.

The lefty is 40-17 on the season, highlighted by reaching his first major final at the US Open in September. Following a run to the championship match at his home Slam, Shelton climbed to a career-high No. 4 in the PIF ATP Rankings.

In addition, the 24-year-old American has lifted four trophies in a standout 2026. Shelton successfully defended his title at the Canadian ATP Masters 1000 event in Montreal, clinched ATP 500 crowns in Munich and Dallas, and captured the Stuttgart crown on grass. Only Sinner, a six-time titlist this year, has won more trophies in 2026.

Shelton will make his second appearance in Turin, having made his debut at Inalpi Arena last year.

Five singles spots still remain at the Nitto ATP Finals. Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten, Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos, and Christian Harrison and Neal Skupski are the three doubles qualifiers thus far.
