Heliovaara and Patten will return to Turin to defend their title

Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten became the first doubles team to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals on Saturday when they claimed the Wimbledon title.

The Finnish-British duo has qualified for the season finale for the third consecutive season, and will return to Inalpi Arena to defend their 2025 title from 15-22 November.

Heliovaara and Patten are in their third year as a team and they have only gained momentum. The top doubles team on the ATP Tour earned their fifth tour-level crown of 2026 on Saturday and their second Wimbledon title (also 2024).

In 2024, Heliovaara and Patten joined forces during the clay-court season and they have been a force ever since. This year has been their most prolific in terms of securing trophies.

Heliovaara and Patten’s five titles in 2026 are their most in a single year as a team, and it is only July. They have emerged victorious in Adelaide, Doha, Dubai, at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Madrid and now at Wimbledon. It is the third straight season in which they have earned a Grand Slam doubles title (2024 Wimbledon, 2025 Australian Open, 2026 Wimbledon).

The first team to qualify for Turin has also made a Masters 1000 final in Miami, a major championship match at Roland Garros and another final at Queen’s Club.

Heliovaara also played in the year-end championships in 2022 alongside Lloyd Glasspool. Patten has only taken part in the tournament with Heliovaara.

Jannik Sinner became the first singles player to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals on Friday when he reached the semi-finals.
