Harrison and Skupski qualify after winning the US Open

Christian Harrison and Neal Skupski have qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals in their first season as a team. The American and Briton guaranteed their place in Turin when they won the US Open title on Sunday.

It has been a memorable year for Harrison and Skupski, who also claimed glory at the Australian Open. They are one of only three teams this century to emerge victorious at the Australian Open and the US Open in the same season, joining Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan, and Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares.

This is the fourth time Skupski has qualified, with his third different partner. The Briton competed in Turin twice with Wesley Koolhof and alongside Joe Salisbury last year.

This will be Harrison’s second appearance in the Nitto ATP Finals. The American last year qualified with countryman Evan King.

The other teams that have qualified are Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten, and Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos.

The season finale will take place at Inalpi Arena from 15-22 November.
