Medvedev returns to the Nitto ATP Finals
Daniil Medvedev will make his return to the Nitto ATP Finals.
The 30-year-old qualified for the season finale for the seventh time on Friday when he defeated Adrian Mannarino in the Erste Bank Open quarter-finals.
Medvedev earned his place at the Nitto ATP Finals in six consecutive years, from 2019-2024. But after missing out on competing in Turin in 2025, he will make his return to Inalpi Arena from 15-22 November.
The 2020 Nitto ATP Finals champion owns a 12-11 record at the event, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index. He also made the championship match in 2021, before falling to Alexander Zverev.
Medvedev has enjoyed a resurgence in 2026, breaking the 50-wins mark for the first time since 2023. The 6’6” righty has won four titles so far this season, the fourth time he has claimed that many trophies in a year.
Medvedev made a perfect start to the season by earning glory in Brisbane and he has not looked back, also winning titles in Dubai, Hangzhou and Almaty. The 25-time tour-level titlist also made an ATP Masters 1000 final at Indian Wells, where he beat Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals.
Alexander Zverev, Alcaraz and Ben Shelton have also qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals. Jannik Sinner qualified, too, but the Italian will not compete due to injury.
Many of the world's biggest stars have been competing at ATP 500 events this week in Basel and Vienna. The PIF ATP Live Race To Turin will come to an end after next week's Rolex Paris Masters, the final Masters 1000 event of the season.
