The Briton is the second singles alternate for the 2021 Nitto ATP Finals, currently in 11th position in the FedEx ATP Race To Turin.
Norrie enjoyed a career-best 2021 season, featuring two ATP Tour titles from five finals. He captured his first ATP Tour title at the Mifel Open in Los Cabos (d. Nakashima) in July and became the first Briton to win the BNP Paribas Open trophy in Indian Wells (d. Basilashvili) in October. He also finished as runner-up at the Millennium Estoril Open and Open Parc Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes Lyon (l. to Tsitsipas both times), and also at the cinch Championships in London (l. to Berrettini).
