Six of the most promising juniors in the world got to compete alongside the stars of the ATP World Tour at the Nitto ATP Finals at The O2 this November, as Carlos Alcaraz won the third U14 Invitational Presented by Lacoste.
After earning his spot in the final of the event with two group play victories, Alcaraz defeated Brazilian Pedro Boscardin Dias to win the trophy. The other four competitors were Italy's Luca Nardi, who qualified by virtue of his victory at the 2017 Les Petits As, Le Mondial Lacoste tournament, Jack Pinnington-Jones of the United Kingdom, Serbia's Nikola Zekic and France's Maxime Dubouch.
The winner of the first edition of the event in 2015, Chun Hsin Tseng, broke into the Emirates ATP Rankings for the first time as a 15-year-old last November. Now 16, he is one of the Top 20-ranked juniors in the world.
Before play began, ATP World Tour Executive Chairman & President Chris Kermode along with Frenchmen Guy Forget and Sebastien Grosjean assisted with the draw ceremony to kick off the tournament, which ran from 17-19 November.
Lacoste celebrated its 15th anniversary as an official partner of the Nitto ATP Finals this year.
